Re: Expense results of this year'sadvertising campaigns and my proposal for next year.

Introduction and aims:

The aim of this report is to review the expense and result ofthis year's advertising campaigns, and suggest what we should donext year.

Findings

In late February, we mailed out special offers catalogue, andthe result was extremely good-the sales peaked at the number of28 in March.

In June, we ran TV advertisement, which is the most expensive,but we gained poorest response-the sales came down to the bottom ofthis year in the following month-July-at the number of18.

In September, we ran newspaper advertising campaign; it gotbetter response but also is expensive.

In November, we mail out new catalogue and gained not badresponse again so that the sales reached the second highest topthis month.

Conclusions:

The findings shows that mail-outing special offers catalogue isthe most effective and cheapest promoting way; and on the contrary,TV advertisement is the most expensive but most useless; thenewspaper advertisement is in between them in terms ofeffectiveness and expense.

Remendations:

In order to increase sales and reduce the expense next year, Iwould remend that we mail out new special offers catalogue everymonth and cancel TV and newspaper advertisement entirely.

In addition, I propose another possibility, that is internetadvertising- maybe it would be a good idea to spend the money,which we spent on TV and newspaper advertisements this year, oninternet advertising next year.
